run for the well

I can’t help but think how many people this thanksgiving will waste their free time. I’m probably one of them.

I hope something will be different for both you and I, assuming we know the weight of glory, the glory of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Jesus Christ of scripture, the scripture that gives life.

If days chock-full of busy work and errands have left your parched, then yes, enjoy your thanksgiving with the family the food and the turkey. But run for the well. Don’t put it off. Pick up your Bible and satisfy/intensify your longing for something meaningful.

Today, tomorrow, let us run for the well.
